Apple has unveiled a new subscription offering designed to bring its most powerful creative tools under one roof. Called Creator Studio, the package bundles several of the company’s professional-grade apps and premium content into a single monthly or yearly plan aimed at video editors, musicians, designers, and students alike.

Priced at $12.99 per month or $129 annually, Creator Studio unlocks access to six major creative applications. Subscribers can use Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro on both Mac and iPad, while Motion, Compressor, and MainStage remain Mac-exclusive. The bundle also enhances Apple’s productivity apps—Pages, Numbers, and Keynote—by adding premium templates, graphics, and other exclusive resources. Apple says support for Freeform across iPhone, iPad, and Mac will be added later. Students and educators receive a steep discount, paying just $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year.

The subscription officially launches on January 28, and Apple is offering a one-month free trial for first-time users.

Alongside the new bundle, Apple announced a wave of feature upgrades across its creative apps. Final Cut Pro now includes tools like Transcript Search for locating dialogue, Visual Search for finding clips using descriptive text, and Beat Detection to sync edits with music. On iPad, new features such as Montage Maker and Auto Crop are designed to speed up mobile editing workflows.

Logic Pro is also evolving, adding capabilities like Synth Player, Chord ID, natural-language search, and an expanded sound library. These updates aim to make music creation more accessible without sacrificing depth.

Pixelmator Pro, which Apple acquired in 2024, is now arriving on iPad for the first time. The app brings advanced image editing, fast performance, and full Apple Pencil support to tablet users. Motion and Compressor continue to serve advanced video creators with tools for animation, visual effects, and precise export control, while MainStage turns a Mac into a live performance setup for musicians.

The subscription also introduces a new “Content Hub” inside Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, offering high-quality visuals and layouts. Additional intelligent features allow users to generate presentations from text outlines, refine slide layouts, create formulas, and auto-fill data using pattern recognition.

Apple emphasized that Creator Studio is meant to lower the barrier to entry for creative work while still serving professionals. Importantly, the company confirmed that all included apps will remain available as standalone purchases, and the free versions of iWork apps will continue to exist.

With Creator Studio, Apple is positioning itself as a one-stop ecosystem for modern digital creators—combining powerful software, smart automation, and flexible pricing in a single subscription.
